Since I went to high school, my parents moved to the city that was near myschool. Moving to the new environment meant I had to give up a lot of things,such as my dear old friends and the beautiful scenery. At first, I learned toget used to the strange environment. When I have time, I would walk around thestreet, trying to get familiar with the shops and streets. Then I found someinteresting places, like the small coffee shop. I could read books there. Theshop provided many books. As I had not many friends, I felt lonely here, but myclassmates were very nice. They helped me to solve problems. Now I have mademany good friends and feel like at home in this big city. I will find moresurprises here.

From my point of view, we should change ourselves when the situation can’tbe changed any more. Difficulties hide in every corner of our life so we have toface them at times. But the problem is that we sometimes are not able to changethe challenging situations at all as our abilities are limited. When it comes,we’d better change our attitude towards these difficulties. Only in this way canwe get rid of the tough surroundings and be happy.
Something like that happened to me once. There was a time when I waslaughed at by my classmates while I was walking. I was puzzled so I asked themwhy they laughed at me. One of them told me that the way I walked was verystrange and funny. I was sad but I just couldn’t change the way I walked. Andthe situation of being laughed at by those people didn’t stop. Therefore, Ichanged my attitude towards the incident. I ignored those comments on me andwalked as I used to. The comments soon disappeared and I was so glad to havesucceeded in the quiet war.
So in my opinion, we should change ourselves first and then the situationcan be changed at last. It is very difficult for us to change our surroundingsbut much easier to change ourselves. People around us will see our change, afterwhich they may change their attitude toward us.

Besides, due tothe exam, I spend much less time in entertainment. I don’t think it’s bad forme, because a good senior school is my priority now. I must pay my mostattention to it.
